Why PI Matters

Personal injury is often a patient’s first introduction to pain physicians and other medical specialists who play a critical role in a patient’s immediate treatment and longer-term care.

For pain physicians with PI patient-centric practices, that means enabling greater access for those in need of care. Additionally, when a practice has the right tools in place, the proper procedures, protections and processes along with consistent communication protocols with key stakeholders, it can result in a positive resolution for all, when a case settles.

Understanding the positive impact that incorporating PI can have, there has never been a better time than now, for both the health of the patient and the practice. This is especially true with rising healthcare costs and shrinking reimbursements.

Like any new medical procedure, education and proper implementation requires a commitment to understanding what previously may not have been learned; and, this webinar series will offer a unique opportunity to gain the knowledge and understanding of the complex legal and regulatory landscape that benefits both patients and your practice.

This four-part series delivers on both.

  • With further understanding of the Medi-Legal aspects, physicians can leverage their newfound knowledge for improved results.
  • The No Surprises Act (NSA), federally mandated, encourages collaboration and can result in more PI patient referrals and medical care coordination.
