This 2-Minute Monday Mindset is about speed and effort for growth.
Organic Growth is Organically Lazy
Organic growth is often seen as the ideal–natural, effortless, and pure, but let’s break that down. By definition, organic means “natural”–something that exists without affirmative action.
So when I hear people focus on “organic growth,” I see it as lazy. Organically lazy.
If you want real growth, you need to get your business hands dirty. You need to build, develop, and dominate the experience everyone has with your business.
That’s not organic. That’s effort. As real business growth comes from delivering value consistently and memorably. Only then does the word spread and growth might appear “natural.”
But don’t be fooled–this isn’t about planting seeds and hoping for a garden. You’ll need weed killer for the challenges, pests and distractions that will get in your way. Don’t believe for one moment that you can set it and forget it.
Organic growth is organically lazy.
Instead, take control. Dominate the patient or customer experience, treat everyone uniquely, and proactively create, develop and nurture your growth. Cultivate to build your raving fan base. And fertilize them with reasons to share the story of your medical magic.
Do that and watch your business grow as if you added Miracle Grow. Because you know that organic growth is organically lazy.
And I’ll see YOU at the next 2MMM!
