This 2-Minutes Monday Mindset is about service relationships.
2MMM: Be the Spark, not the Smoke
When it comes to building relationships in personal injury healthcare, whether with colleagues, law firms, vendors or referral partners, there are all kinds of approaches.
Some lead with expertise. Others position themselves as truth-tellers, contrarians or even confidants.
But who are the most magnetic, sought after, and trusted in this space? They’re value drivers.
They don’t just show up. They lift up.
They act by example doing things right and avoiding the wrong.
They connect people to their network to help or guide them.
They share insights drawing from their experience to lend a hand.
They offer solutions, resources and perspective that makes everyone in the room better.
They have a high level of integrity, character and service.
You don’t have to be the loudest.
You don’t have to be the smartest.
You just have to show up with a mindset and to give, not what you can get.
You just have to be someone who advocates for doing things right and avoiding the wrong.
And here’s the magic:
The more valuable you are for others, the more you become the center of gravity for your network.
Opportunities come to you. Trust builds naturally. Others seek YOU out.
You’re not viewed as others easily forgotten. You’re seen as a force multiplier.
So don’t be the smoke that clouds the room. Be the spark that lights it up.
Lead with value and watch your relationships elevate not just for them but for you.
And I’ll see YOU at the next 2MMM!
